YOUR GROUP SHOULD BE PART OF HISTORY
The 2026 Oyo Empire Day Celebration is being planned as a major gathering of Oyo people, descendants, communities, societies, associations and organisations from Oyo and beyond. Every organised group has an opportunity to contribute to and be represented in this historic Celebration.
This registration form is strictly for groups, societies, associations, organisations and other organised bodies. It is NOT for individuals or family compounds.
Why should your group register?
The information you provide will help the Organising Committee properly plan and coordinate your group’s participation, including parade and procession, cultural presentations, group recognition, seating, logistics, accommodation planning and other special activities and opportunities that may be available to participating organisations.
Importantly, completing this form gives your group a better opportunity to be properly recognised, accommodated and considered for participation in the various programmes and activities of the Celebration.
Groups that do not complete and submit the form may not be considered for certain levels of participation, special roles, presentations, recognition or other opportunities, because the Committee will not have the necessary information to plan for them.
It takes less than 10 minutes! Please take a few minutes to provide accurate information, particularly your expected number of participants and any specific logistical or participation requirements.
Don’t let your group be left out. Register now, secure your place and let Oyo know that your group is part of this historic homecoming!
Together, we celebrate our heritage, preserve our legacy and build our future.
